Hamsa Nanidini Serious about 'Item Girl' tag

Hamsa Nandini is angry that some people are calling her an ‘item girl’. This pretty lady, who has danced to numbers in films like Mirchi, Atharintiki Daredi, Bhai, Ramayya Vasthayya, and the recently released Legend, says it’s not right to tag her as an ‘item girl’. A clearly miffed Hamsa Nandini has reportedly said, “I have acted as a heroine. I am also a model and have worked with top brands. I am not an item girl.”

Hamsa went to add, “Even Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone have done special numbers in Bollywood films. But nobody refers to them as item girls. Why call me an item girl then? Watch the special numbers I have done in Tollywood and you will know that I have always been in limits. I am a ‘guest artist’, not an item girl.”

The actress is currently busy with Rudramadevi, where she has a small role to play, but requires her to train in horse riding and sword fighting.
