Dhanush Wins First IIFA Award

Actor Dhanush who has been felicitated with National Award for his contribution to tamil cinema went to Bollywood with Anand L Roy directed Raanjhana. His debut Hindi film has won him the Film Fare-Best Debutante actor and now he is been awarded IIFA for the same.

Post successful Raanjhana, Dhanush's second Hindi film has recently hit the floors. Akshara Haasan is making her debut opposite Dhanush, Amitabh Bachchan is doing a vital role and R Balki is directing the film.

Meanwhile, Dhanush's upcoming Tamil films Velai Illa Pattadhari and Anegan are in final stages of shooting and makers are expected to announce the release dates soon...
