Venkatesh Prasad Movie with Suhasini Manirathnam

It's all official. Former Indian pace bowler Venkatesh Prasad, who has enthralled cricket fans over decades, is all set for acting plunge. The Bangalore-based International cricketer is going to debut into Tollywood and Sandalwood simultaneously. He is going to act in a Telugu-Kannada bilingual film Sachin, based on cricket. Whats' more? Venkatesh Prasad is going to share screen space with none other than Suhasini Mani Ratnam.

The film does have an interesting caption- Kani Tendulkar Kadu (But not Tendulkar). The regular shooting of the film has begun recently. And if you think Venkatesh Prasad's role is just a cameo, you are certainly wrong. He plays a significant role in the film. Going by sources, Venkatesh Prasad will be seen as a cricket coach. Meanwhile, grapevine is that another pace bowler Javagal Srinath may act in the film. Whatever guys, it's good news for all cricket and movie buffs.
